Syndey & Clay’s Vibrant Late Summer Wedding

A Vibrant Late Summer Wedding

Every wedding day is unique, but what made Sydney and Clay’s vibrant late summer wedding celebration was so special with how perfectly it reflected their relationship—fun, adventurous, and full of love for the people around them. Like so many modern love stories, theirs began with a swipe—on Hinge, to be exact. Their first date was at The Spice Room and a local brewery in Greenwood Village, CO, where conversation and laughter flowed easily. That spark only grew stronger through shared adventures, whether they were skiing and snowboarding on vacation or spending cozy weekends with family.

One of the most memorable milestones came when Clay proposed during a horseback ride in Rocky Mountain National Park. With sweeping mountain views and the quiet beauty of the trail as their backdrop, it was the perfect setting for such a life-changing “yes!”

Soon after, they began to plan a perfect wedding. They chose Brookside Weddings & Events for its easy access, stunning garden vibe, and impeccable service. Their late summer wedding day carried the same sense of joy and adventure that has always been a part of their relationship. Late summer light poured over the celebration, creating the dreamiest glow for portraits and candid moments alike. They chose a vibrant purple and blue color palette with bridesmaids in soft lavender dresses paired with florals that blended bolder purples and blues, creamy whites, and lush greenery by Reale Events. Groomsmen carried pops of color in their ties and boutonnieres, creating a look that tied everything together beautifully. At the reception, tables were dressed with elegant linens, textured centerpieces, and flickering candlelight that created an atmosphere of warmth and connection. The vibe was classy yet relaxed, giving guests space to mingle, laugh, and celebrate without anything feeling overdone.

The Celebration

If there’s one thing that defines these two, it’s their love of having fun together—and that energy carried through the entire day. From the happy tears during the ceremony to the laughter echoing on the dance floor, their wedding was full of the kind of moments that can’t be scripted. They made sure to prioritize time with their guests and creating space for family and friends to feel truly included. Every hug, toast, and smile spoke to the love that surrounded them.

Words of Wisdom

When asked about their biggest piece of wedding planning advice, Sydney and Clay shared: “It goes by so fast! Don’t sweat the details.”

It’s a reminder that while color palettes and décor add beauty, the real magic of a wedding comes from the people and the memories made together. Congrats, you two!
