Abigail and Chris said “I do” surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Estes Park, Colorado, and what an unforgettable day it was! From start to finish, their fall wedding was filled with adventure, thoughtful details, endless laughter, and so much love.

Abigail and Chris’s love story began back in their undergraduate days at the University of Virginia. They first crossed paths through the same Filipino organization, where they both took on leadership roles during their second year. Before that, they had been part of the same friend group and often saw each other at social gatherings and parties. But it wasn’t until Abigail decided to get to know some of their fellow council members a little better that things started to change.

As it turns out, Chris caught her attention (and she may have thought he was a little cute, too!). Their friendship grew through weekly hangouts, which often involved some good old-fashioned GameCube Mario Kart with Chris and his roommates. Abigail is still very proud to report that she beat them most of the time — shoutout to Koopa Troopa shells! From there, the two spent more time together, got to know each other on a deeper level, and eventually turned their friendship into something more.

Abigail remembers Chris as a little quiet and nerdy, but his sense of humor immediately caught her attention. His perfectly timed sarcastic jokes and shared sense of humor made her curious to learn more about him. Chris, on the other hand, remembers thinking Abigail was mean — in the most playful way, of course! Back in their college days, their organization played a game called “Assassins,” where everyone was assigned someone to “take out.” Abigail happened to have some valuable information about Chris’s target, but she wasn’t about to make things easy for him. Despite his best efforts, she refused to give him any hints, leading to some playful back-and-forth banter.

Little did they know that the teasing and witty exchanges that started in college would become such a big part of their relationship. And all these years later, that same playful banter is still going strong!

Their wedding day began with getting ready at Taharaa Mountain Lodge, followed by a beautiful Catholic mass ceremony at Our Lady of the Mountains Church. After exchanging vows, we headed out around Estes Park for portraits. With Elk Fest happening in town, things were a little busy, a little chaotic, and definitely an adventure! But Abigail and Chris embraced every moment, making the most of the beautiful fall scenery and unexpected excitement.

And let’s talk about the details! From stunning florals to personalized coaster favors created especially for each guest, every element felt intentional, meaningful, and perfectly reflective of their personalities. As the evening unfolded, the celebration kicked into high gear. This crew came ready to party, and the dance floor was absolutely packed with energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. To top it all off, we ended the night beneath the beautiful Colorado stars.
