Autumn and Justin met at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, living across the street from each other, and spent summers on campus becoming best friends. Autumn remembers getting excited when she saw Justin’s car pull into the driveway, because she always looked forward to seeing him. She considers their first date to be going to see the live-action Aladdin movie, but isn’t sure if Justin realized it was a date at the time! Autumn quickly fell in love with Justin’s funny and genuine personality. He’s caring and is easy to be around. Justin fell for Autumn’s beautiful eyes and sense of humor. They spent much of their free time enjoying outdoor activies like hiking, frisbee, and skiing, and love playing cards!
Fast forward some time. Justin proposed to Autumn at a waterfall in Utah while hiking with her cousin. She was completely surprised and of course, said YES! Justin had invited Autumn’s cousin along on the hike to take pictures, and afterward they celebrated with family. Justin even secretly flew her sister out to celebrate with them!
Autumn and Justin chose the Inverness Denver for their large Jewish wedding, for its easy access and beautiful grounds. And what a day it was! From Autumn’s beautiful dress and the heartfelt moments to including their doggo Michi in the marriage license signing and the incredible energy during their ketubah signing, their day was jam-packed with joy.
The biggest thing that stood out to me was simply the closeness and passion of their families. Their faith is their foundation and it’s evident in every part of their lives. It was truly an honor to be a small part of such a momentous celebration.
When these two shared a first look, Justin was absolutely speechless at seeing his bride. It was a sweet moment. And their horah dance was OF THE CHARTS wild and fun! Congrats, you two! Much love to you both.
