If you've followed my blog for any length of time, you'll remember the crazy story about how I met Brittany and Brian. My hubby and I were in Mexico celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. The resort had a pool-side drawing for some tree t-shirts and other random goodies. As they announced Brittany's name, "from Milliken!", my husband (who was refilling our drinks at the bar) heard the Milliken part and was curious if it was THE Milliken in Colorado. Sure enough, after chatting with Brittany briefly, we all realized we lived back home less than 3 miles from each other! What a small world!
Since then, I've had the pleasure of being their family photographer with the arrival of their little girl. This year, the two decided to give her parents an early Christmas gift: family photos! We met near Estes Park for some amazing fall colors and finished the session with dramatic storm clouds and views of Lumpy Ridge. It was fabulous!
