For the past four years, Brian and I have spent the last weekend of January in Colorado Springs for a music conference he attends as continuing education for teaching. It's a great time for me to relax and refocus, AND book a few sessions while I'm there! This year I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow photographer and her husband for a snowy sun-drenched session near Black Forest. These two are celebrating their 5th dating anniversary (and 3rd wedding anniversary) in February and we celebrated with a fun session in the mountains.

Kaytlyn and Ben were all giggles and snuggles to keep warm in the chilly winter air! These two amazing humans have two kiddos, but still share so much passion together. We hiked around Fox Run Regional Park near Colorado Springs as the sun made its way to the horizon, swapped life stories, and joked around together. It was the perfect way to spend a Friday evening!
