A Snowy Mountain Wedding at Brainard Lake - Lindsey and Jeff's Day After Session - Colorado Wedd

I can't believe I didn't get this fabulously cold session on the blog yet! Oh my goodness, it's a good one. I had the honor of flying to Kansas City last September to photograph Lindsey and Jeff's beautiful farm wedding. These two are so near and dear to my heart! It was a whirlwind weekend with two weddings back-to-back and travel in between!

They were going to be flying back to Colorado shortly after their wedding so we scheduled a "day-after" session for the beautiful mountains of Colorado. And in true Colorado fashion, a winter storm moved in the day of their session and cloaked beautiful Brainard Lake in clouds and wind and snow. These two didn't complain, in fact they were all giggles and shivers while the gusts of wind pelted us with sleet.

As a Colorado mountain wedding photographer, I've learned that stressing about the weather conditions really is futile. Conditions change so quickly here, it's best to roll with the punches as they say. Because no matter what time of year you plan a wedding, there's a chance the opposite season will occur!

Without further ado, here are a few of my favorites from our afternoon adventure!
