Last summer was one for the books. My husband and I spend almost three weeks in France and Spain for a dream vacation overseas, and during our week in France we went under contract to sell our house. We arrived home and went under contract for a new house, squeezed a few weddings in the week following below flying to Washington for a week, coming home to close on our sold house, packing and moving.... all in a three-week span of time. Yeah, I don't recommend it.
One of the highlights during that crazy time was second shooting Frannie and Charlie's wedding with Shelby Downs Photography. Shelby is the sweetest human being on the planet and has the most gracious couples! Frannie and Charlie got married at the Lyons Farmette on a hot July day. If you haven't visted the Farmette, you are missing out! It is the cutest little pocket venue and farm just inside the foothills of Colorado, and boasts large flower gardens, farm animals, and a stunning lawn ceremony site.
I loved spending the afternoon with this great couple and capturing their love story in such a beautiful setting. Here are a few of my favorites! I can't wait to shoot at this venue again this year!
