I had the honor of photographing Ashley and Cameron's wedding a few weeks back at the beautiful River Garden Winery near Ft Lupton, Colorado. These two fun-loving souls met six years ago through one of Ashley's cousins, who introduced them at her graduation party. Their first date was a New Years party together and shortly after their relationship grew into a lifelong journey. Cameron's easy going personality and sense of humor attracted Ashley and soon he was ready to pop the question of marriage.
They were enjoying the beaches of the Cayman Islands and had posed for a family photo when Cameron dropped to a knee and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said YES!
Ashley works with NOCO Style Magazine and reached out to me late last year to chat about wedding photography. Instantly, her smile and joyful personality told me they'd be a wonderful fit! We met up in June for their engagement photos in downtown Loveland and chased sunset up to Horsetooth Reservoir.
While this year has proven to be a challenge, Ashley and Cameron charged forward with their special day. River Garden Winery truly is a northern Colorado hidden gem. With lush vineyard rows, beautiful old growth cottonwood trees, and a small lake on property (for the most beautiful sunsets!), it offers a perfect backdrop for romance. These two shared vows and exchanged rings in the middle of the vineyard and it was 100000% amazing.
When asked about their favorite wedding memory, Ashley's response was, "My favorite part was walking back down the aisle after our ceremony. I was so happy to get that out of the way because I was so nervous. We were so happy! Everyone around us was smiling and cheering!"
