Christine and Danny met in college, during a 5-year architecture program. There were three guys and ten women in a studio class, and that spring they shared their first date at Free State Brewery. They had a wonderful time together and when it came time to say goodbye, Christine hugged Danny. He was so bummed about the hug that he texted her the next morning at 6am, asking "Will you ever go out with me again?" Of course, the rest is history.
I met these two last year where we excitedly discussed their wedding plans for Camp Hale and scheduled a fall engagement session in the mountains. Christine and Danny are plain good people and so fun to be around! Their smiles are contagious and they share a joyful spirit together.

Christine and Danny chose Camp Hale for it's beautiful mountain views. Located just 30 minutes from Vail, Colorado the camp used to be a U.S. Army training facility constructed in 1942 for what became the 10th Mountain Division. At 9,200 feet, it was created as a high altitude training location. In 2003, a cleanup effort began to remove some of the remaining military reminants in the area. Nova Guides now uses the location as an adventure sports base for Jeep tours, winter activities, and weddings.
Their wedding day arrived in sunny, warm Colorado fashion with beautiful bluebird skies and puffy clouds. Christine shared inside jokes and laughs with her best friends in Vail, while Danny chilled with his guys in a cabin at Camp Hale. Once ready, we drove the two of them up the mountain valley for an unforgettable first look and vista.
Everything about their wedding was perfect. From Christine's amazing dress and bouquet to Danny's fabulous bowtie and they fly-fishing lessons during cocktail hour, their wedding was one for the books!
