Emily and Isaiah met during a collage business course at CSU. Isaiah saw Emily from across the room and decided to sit next to her in the next class. As they began to get to know one another, it was quickly apparent they were meant to be. Emily fell in love with Isaiah's positive personality, while Isaiah loved Emily's adventurous spirit. These two love hiking to a fishing spot and enjoying the great outdoors together.
When it came time to take the next step, Isaiah booked a cabin in Steamboat Springs for a weekend trip. They enjoyed a horseback ride to a lake, and while soaking in the views at the lake, Isaiah popped the question! Emily said yes!
I met Emily and Isaiah for engagement photos this past winter in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a perfect February day with bearable temps! Instantly, I knew their wedding day would be amazing.
They chose to have their ceremony in the morning at the Annunciation Chapel in north Fort Collins and a fabulous celebration afterwards at Sweetheart Winery. Sweetheart Winery is truly a simple, but beautiful hidden gem in the foothills of Colorado. Their staff is responsive and professional, and the venue itself is so picturesque!
We managed to dodge raindrops, but enjoyed cooler temperatures. My favorite moment was their spontaneous first kiss (outside the Chapel!) and the fun we had with their wedding party! Congrats, you two! What an amazing day!
The couple's biggest wedding planning advice: "Enjoy the process and don't get overwhelmed. A wedding coordinator is VERY helpful."
