When Kristen first emailed me to book an engagement session, I knew we were a great fit! Her and Eric flew in to Colorado from Florida to visit the state over Labor Day weekend, and wanted to celebrate their engagement with a photo session in RMNP. Kristen grew up in Colorado but has spent the last ten years in Florida and wanted to introduce her fiance to the beautiful area.

We quickly picked a date and crossed our fingers and toes for perfect weather. Well, our wishes were granted. We spent some time at Bear Lake, Moraine Valley, and ended the session chasing sunset at the top of Trail Ridge Road, elevation 11,000 ft.

My favorite clients are those who embrace adventure, crazy ideas, and winding roads to unknown places. We saw herds of elk, breathed in the crisp mountain air, and shared some real gut laughs together.
