Allison and Billy met at Texas Tech University in 2010 through a potluck roommate who was from Billy's home town. They shared a first date at Applebees. Right away, their friendship and love grew. Allison fell in love with Billy's passion and loyalty for the people he loves and Billy was instantly attracted to Alllison's compassionate personality.
Billy had planned to propose to Allison during an evening at a park overlooking the mountains, but his plans were foiled when a huge snow storm rolled in. It was December and the two of them decided to go to Union Station. Inside, Billy asked Allison to be his forever under the big Christmas tree as it began to snow.

They chose Arrowhead Golf Course for it's breath-taking views of the Colorado foothills and unique rock formations. Their wedding day arrived slightly odd for Colorado: cloudy and stormy. We were all watching our weather apps and praying to the weather gods to give us a break in the clouds. As we arrived to the venue, the sky opened up and dumped an incredible amount of rain. Chairs and decorations were pulled inside quick as we prepared for an indoor ceremony. But Billy and Allison had other ideas. They decided to wait it out and we are so glad they did! Within twenty minutes, the rain passed, and clouds opened and they had the most beautiful outdoor ceremony with views!
They danced to Tennessee Whiskey together and shared a few quiet moments under the stars as the night came to a close. When asked for their biggest wedding planning advice, they responded, "Don't sweat the small stuff and just roll with the punches on the big day. It will turn out beautifully no matter what." So much truth! Congrats, you two! I pray many blessings as you begin your new life together!
