Dea and Brian's Summer Wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens - Colorado Wedding Photographer

When Dea contacted me to photograph their wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens, I was thrilled. Dea is the mom of my fabulous January groom this past year (check out their Della Terra wedding here!) and she and Brian wanted an intimate event with their closest friends and family.

Dea and Brian met at work. Their first date was technically at Texas Roadhouse. But from the beginning, Dea fell in love with Brian's quiet wit and Brian was instantly attracted to Dea's personality. These two love to travel, mountain bike, and eat.

When it came time to propose, Brian and Dea hiked up to a hut at 11,000 ft with some friends. It was a challenging hike, but when they got to the top, Brian took her out on the deck and surprised her by proposing. Of course, she said YES!

These two chose Denver Botanic Gardens as the backdrop for their wedding for its whimsical and lush feel. Their ceremony inside the Woodlands Mosaic was beautiful and when the clouds broke with torrential rains, we were all cozy inside the mini garden castle.

I'm honored to have been a small part of their special day. Without further ado, here are my favorite highlights from the day! Congrats, you two!
