When I met Ashley and Coyle earlier this year, Ashley asked if I'd be interested and willing to come to Nebraska for their engagement photos at her family's farm. My response: HECK YES! I love new environments and locations to explore! So we picked a date with hopes there would still be fall color near Sidney, and Brian and I drove out there last weekend. As with most of Colorado, the west end of Nebraska took fall hard this year with very little color and early leaf drop in many places. As we pulled up to the farm, Ashley's mom popped out to greet us and we were warmly welcomed! They opted to include a few photos of the whole family so we did that before snatching the happy couple away for their engagement photos.
Ashley mentioned wanting a few photos "with the horses". We hopped in the truck and drove out to a pasture across the road to find the horses, all the while learning that these beautiful creatures are owned and bred by a family friend who's contracted with Wells Fargo for their stagecoach. It was like they knew their photos were being taken as the herd moseyed up and posed perfectly for a few frames!
These two are planning a summer wedding at Platte River Fort with their two adorable boys and I cannot wait. Congrats, you two!
