"You're the rock in my roll, You're good for my soul, it's true, I'm head over boots for you." The lyrics from Jon Pardi's song blaze in my mind as I remember Holly and Carson's incredible Younger Ranch wedding. These two were meant to be, there's no doubt.
Holly and Carson met during their freshman year of college. After dating for a while, Carson surprise the socks off Holly by proposing to her while tagging cow ears! They are a country-match-made-in-heaven-couple and love to spend time together on their ranch.
As their wedding day approached, the weather forecast was calling for highs in the 60s + 90% chance of rain. I was so happy upon arrival to Younger Ranch and Holly was all smiles. Clouds and rain didn't drown her excitement to marry Carson at all! As it turned out, the rain stayed away most of the day and we even had sunshine immediately after their ceremony.
These two locked eyes as Holly's dad and grandfather walked her down the aisle. There were tears, laughter, and so much love during their ceremony! The outpouring of love and support from their guests was tangible throughout the wedding and I found myself fighting back tears as I witnessed so many special moments shared.
In lieu of lighting a traditional unity candle, these two opted to brand a cow hide with their family brand, signifying the start of their forever union. It was so unique and perfect!
For any couples looking for a rustic, beautiful outdoor venue, you have to visit Younger Ranch. It's a stunning location in the heart of Colorado and the foot of Pike's Peak.
