Jessica and Nate are no exception! I first met these two over coffee and they soon booked me to photograph their wedding; I knew we were a great fit with similar personalities and views. When Brian and I met them for their engagement photo session at Colorado Youth Outdoors, we chatted and got to know each other and had so many good laughs.
They planned a July wedding, complete with ridiculously beautiful weather and cold drinks. So many details were included throughout their celebration: from the flowers and cute signs to Jessica's stunning dress and their wedding cake, these two know how to throw a party.
When their wedding day arrived, we selected a location in the Fort for the two of them to share a No Look - First Look together. They held hands around the corner and talked for a few minutes before their wedding ceremony. It was a special moment; as photographer I could witness both of their expressions and emotions. From their perspective, it was simply hearing the other person's voice and squeezing hands. As Jessica walked down the aisle, Nate's solemn expression broke into a smile at the sight of his bride.
Jessica and Nate went on their first date six years ago in Greeley. It was a simple date....dinner and an evening of bowling! Nate told Jessica that if she won, he'd take her out again. In her words, "PS - I totally lost... he took me out again anyway".
Nate asked Jessica to marry him in Christmas lights on a friend's garage door on Christmas Eve Eve. These two love going camping and fishing and have a huge heart for their family and friends.
Their favorite wedding memory: "Our first dance."
