When Marci came to me with the idea to create a style wedding at Platte River Fort, my immediate thought was to take the standard rustic, country vibe of the venue and turn it 180 degrees. Instead of embracing the usual casual feel of the Fort, we decided to create a classy black tie affair instead.
Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE all things sparkly, bold, and colorful. I love dressing up a space to make it special, love wearing pretty dresses, and also love unique textures. With the help of some pretty awesome vendors, we were able to produce vibrant and beautiful wedding inspiration that breaks the stereotypical ranch mold.
A HUGE thanks to our amazing models: Stephanie and Matt! These two were married just a few short months after our Platte River Fort styled wedding, back home in New York. They are adventurous and passionate, and were a perfect addition to our vision.
