A Fall Wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course - Krista & Kaleb are MARRIED - Colorado Mountain Photography

While living in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Krista and Kaleb actually met through Tinder in an attempt to meet new people. They shared a first date at the 8th Street Ale House and ended up talking that night for almost five hours! From that day forward, their friendship and love for one another continued to grow. Kaleb fell in love with Krista's adventurous personality and sense or humor. Krista was drawn to Kaleb's commitment to achieving his goals and his heart for friends and family.

When Kaleb moved to Washington and Krista to Colorado, it became quickly apparent that these two were meant for each other. Their distance apart only strengthened their love and when Kaleb flew to Colorado to visit Krista, he decided to take the next step in their relationship with a proposal on top of Flagstaff Mountain near Boulder.

When they had hiked up the trail and found a scenic overlook, Kaleb set up his new camera on a tripod to take "better than a selfie" photo. He tested the timer once, then sent Krista back to the camera to hit the shutter to test again. When she returned to the rock they were standing on, Kaleb dropped to a knee and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said YES!

These two chose Arrowhead Golf Course as the backdrop for their wedding. With views of the Colorado flatirons and a great staff, it's an easy choice! Their fall date arrived true: sunny and breezy and warm. We chose a shaded, private area for them to read one another's letters and share their first look. Such a magical moment! In fact, it was one of Kabel's favorite wedding memories: "Reading the letter that Krista wrote before the first look, and realizing how similar our letters to each other were. It made it even more evident that Krista and I are perfect for each other, based on our love of adventure but also our love for the simple day-to-day things that happen in life. That and seeing how gorgeous Krista looked in her dress and how happy she looked from the very beginning of the day to seeing her take out a billion bobby-pins when we were in our room that night."

And once the formalities were done, these two knew how to PARTY! With a full dance floor most of the evening, they were grins from ear to ear dancing with their family and friends! Krista's favorite memory was their final song, as it was a surprise for Kabel. They had agreed on a different song, but she surprised him by having the DJ play a Black Sabbath song that Kaleb has always said makes him think of her. It was so fun to see his reaction and watch them rocking out to it to cap off the night!

The couple's biggest wedding planning advice: "It's easier said than done, but try not to stress over the little things! The day will be a whirlwind, and you won't remember how the napkins were folded or if the centerpieces were perfect (and neither will anyone else). As long as the big things are checked off your list, the rest is just frosting and at the end of the day you're still marrying your best friend. People will have a great time if they see that you're happy & enjoying yourselves, so don't let the little things stress you out or cause conflict between you."

Congrats, you two!! I'm so excited to share a few of my favorites from your big day. What a fun day! Many more to come!
