Valainie and Connor met on Hinge and shared their first date ice skating on 16th Street Mall in Denver in January of 2020. Two months later, we all know what happened: the world shut down. These two continued to build their relationship through that challenging time but grew together over their love for hiking and adventuring.
Some time later, Connor had been planning and plotting a hike to propose to Valainie, but those plans kept getting derailed by rain. Finally, he was able to plan a hike with Valainie and her parents up to Maxwell Falls. He was so nervous the morning of the hike, he barely spoke to her. At the perfect spot, Connor asked Valainie to marry him during an emotional speech, but Valainie was so excited she was already saying YES!
These two chose Arrowhead Golf Club as the beautiful backdrop for their big day. Arrowhead Golf Course provides unparalleled views of the red rocks and easy access from Denver, making it a great choice for weddings!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I ADORE vibrant wedding colors. Valainie and Connor's pop of purple was stunning and so fun to see! Valainie's bouquet of peonies was jaw-dropping and their details were the perfect fit.
As Connor turned around during their first look, he was overcome with emotion seeing Valainie. It became one of their favorite moments from the day! Soon, they shared vows and exchanged rings, and were pronounced Mr and Mrs!
It was so fun taking them out on the golf course to explore areas for portraits with the moody stormy skies. Once portraits were done, they were introduced and enjoyed their first dance as a married couple, complete with a few lifts and lots of cheers from their guests! Congrats, Valainie and Connor!
