Katelin and Zach were introduced at a friend's party and shared a first date at Bittersweet Park where they were rained out. They spent the evening talking and instantly became friends. Zach fell in love with Katelin's smile and she adores his ability to always make her laugh.
When it came time to take the next step, Zach planned a camping trip to their family cabin near Marble, CO. He got both sides of the family in on the little secret and during a four-wheeling excursion up to the Crystal Mill, he got down on one knee while their families were hidden in secret to witness it!
These two had planned an early fall wedding for September 2020. As with many couples, their plans had to change. So instead of waiting an entire year, they decided to set a new date for June. Their day arrived stormy and dramatic. With cooler temperatures, a bit of sun just in time for their ceremony, and dark skies in the evening it was a perfect day!
When asked for their favorite wedding memory, their response: "We are torn between the first look and the final dance with all our friends and family."
The couple's biggest wedding planning advice? "Try not to stress about little things, enjoy the day for what it is because it goes by so quickly. Things will go wrong but I’m the long run that doesn’t really matter at the end of the day.
I'm so honored to have been part of your big day, many congrats to you both!
