Letícia & Dominic's Fall Wedding at The Barn at Sunset Ranch, Buena Vista Colorado Wedding Photos

Dominic met Leticia through a mutual friend and it quickly became apparent these two were meant to be. They shared a first date at Texas de Brazil in November of 2018, where they bonded over love of family and passion for hiking.

Fast forward a couple of years. A few months into the pandemic quarantine, Dominic decided to take Leticia on a date to a new place that she'd always wanted to visit: the Dallas Arboretum. In 100 degree temps, they strolled the gardens together and eventually Dominic lead Leticia to a secret garden. With decorations and a photographer ready, he asked Leticia to marry him. She said YES!

These two chose The Barn at Sunset Ranch as the backdrop for their wedding. Well, really the backdrop is the stunning Mt Princeton of the Collegiate Range with its snow-capped ridges and massive size. This was my first time at this beautiful location and to be honest, I was a kid in a candy store ALL DAY, picking up my jaw off the floor, stunned by so much beautiful scenery around us.

And then Leticia donned her incredible Essense of Australia dress, my breath caught. She made the most stunning bride.

Leticia and Dominic were greatly affected by the pandemic and travel restrictions. Leticia's family is in Brazil and many were not able to fly to the US to attend their wedding. But it didn't stop their happiness and joy, because THEY WERE GETTING MARRIED! With the great technology we have, Leticia was even able to have her mom on a video call while she got dressed. Wow, what a world we live in.

They opted to wait to see one another until their ceremony, and it ended up being one of their favorite memories of the day. As Leticia walked down the aisle, they locked eyes and Dominic fought back tears. It was a very special moment.

It's always nice to end a busy wedding season on a high note. As my last wedding of regular season, their wedding left me on a high for WEEKS. Their passion, their gracious attitudes, their wedding colors, and ending the night with the most epic Milkyway star shot was the absolute best way to close my season.

Thank you, you two. Congratulations and I wish you the very best in your journey as husband and wife!

The couple's biggest wedding planning advice: "Just be patient because it seems very stressful but when it’s over you will miss it. So, enjoy the “engaged” time because it never comes back and the joy of it is very memorable."
