Materason & Parker's Colorful Fall Mountain Wedding at Keystone Ranch - Colorado Wedding Photography

Materason and Parker met like so many other amazing couples: online! These two connected through Hinge and went on a first date to Wynkoop Brewery in downtown Denver, enjoying beers and games. They quickly discovered how easy it was to be around one another and didn't want the evening to end. As their relationship grew, their love for cooking, reading, and playing videogames together grew as well (and they even have an exclusive book club for just the two of them!)!

Fast forward a couple of years, Parker planned out a perfect day to take the next step. He used the excuse of celebrating Materason's recent job change to surprise her with a date in the mountains at Hyalite Reservoir, including wine and charcuterie. Shortly after opening the picnic basket, Parker told Materason to come to the edge of the lake to look at a fish. When she stood up, he handed her a book explaining his favorite things about her and how much he loves her. He then knelt on the rain-soaked ground and asked her to marry him. When she said yes, they popped open the champagne and the rain magically stopped to reveal a double rainbow over the lake!

I met up with them this summer in downtown Denver for urban engagement photos and had a blast at Wynkoop Brewery, outside Union Station, and chasing sunset to a roof top!

These two love skiing and it was only fitting to have a crisp fall wedding at one of their favorite places: Keystone. Keystone Ranch was the perfect backdrop for their special day with amazing staff and views! They chose vibrant fall tones for their wedding colors and my color-loving heart skipped a beat. The mustard yellow, rust, and terracotta colors came together stunningly with the blue sky background.

When asked about their favorite wedding memory, they replied, "Seeing family and friends and being able to celebrate with everyone. Many of our guests flew and drove from all over the US. We also loved sharing some of our favorite songs and dances with our loved ones."

Congratulations, Materason and Parker! Truly, your wedding day was one of my favorites to date!

The couple's biggest wedding planning advice: "Have fun, enjoy it, and according to Materason, definitely hire a day-of coordinator!"
