Mckenna & Noah's Summer Garden Wedding at Brookside Gardens - Berthoud Colorado Wedding Photographer

Mckenna and Noah met at work for Universal Forest Products, when Noah was the lumber math instructor during a training session. They became close friends, enjoying concerts, camping, exploring new breweries, and cooking together. Their relationship grew into love and the rest is history.

Some time later, they took a weekend trip to Napa. Mckenna always suspected that Noah would propose to her on one of their crazy trips, but it wasn't until the second winery of the day during a hilltop picnic that Noah told her he had a present for her. She tried to smash the surprise with a sarcastic comment of "Why would you buy me a gift?!". Noah responded with the sweetest words, gave her the ring box, and asked her to marry him. Of course, she grabbed his face and kissed him with a big YES!

They chose beautiful Brookside Gardens in Berthoud, Colorado as the lush backdrop for their wedding day. Late summer is such a perfect time for this venue as the flowers are blooming and the greenery is delicious looking. I adored their soft color palette and of course the little details they included to make their day special.

These two have an unconditional love for each other and their amazing tribe of people. My favorite moment during their day was their first look. Noah was fighting back tears, but when Mckenna walked down the aisle during the ceremony his eyes welled up again. Such sweet moments!

Their day ended with an epic dance party! What a perfect start to forever!

The couple's biggest wedding planning advice: "Be patient. Noah says to set your expectations lower and involve your family earlier. Do what you want because you want to, not because anyone else thinks you should or wants to for their own gain. I say, be organized, know what you want, and have a plan. Be patient and be strong. It is your day, and your day only. Be in the moment, and make sure you stay ahead of the game. Break down your tasks to focus and accomplish one thing at a time. Make payments early, so it doesn't all hit at one time at the end. Definitely book Sarah for your photographer." :) Thanks McKenna! Congrats, you two!
