Bridget & Tim's Late Summer Golf Course Island Wedding - Pelican Lakes Colorado Wedding Photography

Bridget and Tim's story began through mutual friends, where a cheesy pickup line and a discussion about the difference between a dress and a skirt sparked a future together. These two met at a friend's BBQ party and shared a 10-hour first date together at Rayback Collective in Boulder. It was quickly apparent to Bridget that Tim had much more to offer than his cheesy pickup lines. She saw loyalty, love, family values, trust and cowboy boots. Tim fell for Bridget's fiercely passionate and sassy personality, her ethics, and family values.

That summer on July 4th, Bridget met some of Tim's family and they made their dating relationship official. Seven months later, the pandemic hit the world and the two love birds decided to move in together! It was a huge change, but one for the better as they grew closer together even through some difficult times.

A year later, Tim went into extensive planning mode to surprise Bridget with a ring. He took her on a short hike in the Breckenridge, Colorado area where he proposed in front of a gorgeous waterfall. He had coordinated with her dad and sister to photograph the entire event! After they returned back from the hike, their families and friends were waiting to throw them a huge celebration!

These two planned a late summer wedding at the beautiful Pelican Lakes Wedding Island. The area is special to them and every little detail was thoughtfully executed. From Bridget's incredible dress and floral design, to the centerpieces and favor donations, it was a perfect day.

Oh, and did I mention their ENORMOUS wedding party of 30?! What a fun group! And their big red doggo, Clifford, may have stolen the show. When asked for their favorite wedding day memory, their response: "There are so many! But I wont ever forget the look on Tim's face when he realized our first dance was a surprise from me. His God mother, Michelle sang "Tennessee Whiskey," something Michelle and I planned right when Tim and I got engaged. Tim also loved my "air guitar" session with my dad during the song, "Sweet Child of Mine" and our last big group song to "American Pie" with all of our guests."

The couple's biggest wedding planning advice: "Take everything one day at a time and try not to stress too much!"

Congrats, you two. Enjoy your new lives together!
